I'm Sophie, a professional photographer since 2007, specialising in creating atmospheric imagery for brands, events, weddings and families.

For me, photography is all about creating images which pull a viewer in and transport them back to a place or time. Regardless of what I'm shooting, this is always at the heart of my approach.

CONTENT

I shoot everything from website content for small businesses, through to Universities who need content for global marketing campaigns. Regardless of whether I'm photographing a startup or a huge organisation, my approach is always exceptionally hands on with the soul intention of conveying the brand message in bold, engaging images.

WEDDINGS

Photographing weddings is the best training a photographer can possibly get.  Photographing a wedding requires you to be an excellent all rounder; capturing atmosphere, details, interactions, all whilst disappearing into the background.  Having photographed hundreds of weddings has definitely helped shape other areas of my work...

FAMILIES

I specialise in creating family photos which burst with personality… the shoots are fun and relaxed with absolutely no self conscious posing.

PRIVATE PARTIES

From christenings at the Brompton Oratory in Knightsbridge to birthday parties on Ardingly reservoir in Sussex, I take a narrative led approach to create images which bring a party/gathering/reunion back to life...

EVENTS

From charity fundraisers to freshers' balls to live gigs... I love photographing events, to create imagery which clients can then use to promote themselves and their future events.

PERSONAL PROJECTS

Creating my own work allows me complete freedom to develop my ideas and my style.  2020 saw me embark on a new series called Lockdown Kids which depicts children during the Covid summer standing in front of their homes.
